UAEU University Library seeks a strategic leader to guide user engagement and service delivery across campus and digital spaces. You will shape strategic plans, oversee staff development, and drive innovative, user-centered programs in alignment with teaching, learning and research priorities.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to build partnerships within the university and with external libraries.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• MLIS/MLS preferred or equivalent professional qualification and experience.
• Minimum 5 years progressive library leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engagement with students, faculty, researchers and the university community.
• Develop and implement the Library's strategy for user engagement, experience and service delivery.
• Approve and review the Library’s short- and long-term development plans and oversee development of user services and engagement programs.
• Oversee staff training, performance evaluations and role descriptions to align with operations.
• Lead modern, integrated, user-centered service models across physical and virtual environments.
• Identify and implement AI-enabled improvements for discovery and information literacy.
• Benchmark against leading libraries and foster collaborations across the university.
• Ensure consistent, intuitive user experience across spaces and online resources.
