Job summary

Harrow International School Abu Dhabi seeks an exceptional Director of Inclusion to join the founding team and lead inclusive education across campus. You will oversee SEND, ELL and G&T provisions, collaborate with teachers and external specialists, and drive strategies that enable every pupil to thrive academically and socially.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, high expectations, data-driven assessment, and strong partnerships with parents and the wider school community, under Harrow's values.

Qualifications

• Degree in Special Education or a related field and a Teaching Certification.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Postgraduate qualification in SEND (e.g., NASENCO or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead SEND, ELL and G&T provision and embed inclusion across curriculum and school life.
• Oversee identification, assessment and monitoring of pupils with additional support needs.
• Support teachers with high-quality, differentiated lessons and targeted interventions.
• Design and deliver training for colleagues on inclusive pedagogy and support strategies.
• Collaborate with staff, parents and external specialists to implement effective support plans.
• Contribute to safeguarding and wellbeing by working with pastoral leaders.
