The Hospitality Director will be responsible for shaping and delivering the hospitality vision for our real estate developments in Egypt and KSA. This includes overseeing hospitality concepts, partnerships, operations, and brand alignment across hotels, serviced residences, F&B, and experiential lifestyle amenities. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of operational expertise, development acumen, and a strong understanding of regional and international hospitality trends.
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead the hospitality strategy for Egypt / Saudi Arabia in line with the company’s brand vision and commercial goals.
- Advise on the integration of hospitality elements within mixed-use developments from concept through execution.
- Develop asset-specific hospitality positioning in collaboration with marketing and development teams.
Development & Pre-Opening
- Work with development teams on concept design, layout planning, and technical reviews for hospitality components.
- Oversee operator selection and negotiation of hotel management agreements (HMAs), franchise agreements, and strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate with project management, design, and construction teams to ensure alignment with hospitality requirements.
Operational Oversight
- Provide oversight and direction during the pre-opening and operational ramp-up of hospitality assets.
- Ensure third-party operators meet brand standards, financial targets, and guest experience KPIs.
- Act as the internal liaison between ownership and hotel management companies.
Financial & Commercial
- Drive financial performance of hospitality assets, ensuring long-term value creation.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and profitability of hospitality components.
- Review and approve business plans, CAPEX, and operational strategies.
Market & Brand Insight
- Stay abreast of regional and global hospitality trends, particularly in luxury, lifestyle, and wellness segments.
- Identify opportunities for innovation, partnerships, and brand extensions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Real Estate, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years’ experience in hospitality development and operations, including significant exposure to hotel openings or repositioning.
- Previous experience working with or for high-end or lifestyle hospitality brands in the GCC or globally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage third-party operators and internal cross-functional teams.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Arabic language skills a plus, but not essential.
