Job Title : Director of Governance & Risk

Job Summary :

An experienced Director of Governance & Risk is required to lead enterprise-wide technology governance, risk, and compliance efforts. This strategic role is responsible for setting direction, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations, and enhancing operational excellence across IT functions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement governance and risk management frameworks that align with business and technology strategies.
• Oversee the execution of complex, enterprise-level technology programs with a focus on risk-informed decision-making and compliance.
• Leverage expertise in information management, SDLC, IT service management, agile / lean practices, infrastructure operations, enterprise architecture, and ITIL standards.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and transparent communication.
• Inspire and lead teams by communicating clear vision and direction, fostering collaboration and performance.
• Apply analytical thinking and structured problem-solving to drive continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Translate complex governance and risk issues into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Background & Expertise :

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in governance, risk, audit, or program management within enterprise IT or group technology settings.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, cross-functional teams and implementing enterprise governance programs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
