MCG Talent is seeking a Senior Communications Director to join one of our clients, a strategic communications and public affairs consultancy based in Riyadh, KSA.

This role is suitable for someone with approximately 10-15 years of experience.

You will be part of the communications team, advising companies on public relations, public affairs, strategic positioning, and CEO positioning.

Job Description

• Develop and implement communication strategies and plans in collaboration with project teams for international clients.
• Manage communication activities for the strategic positioning of companies and management boards.
• Advise clients on internal and external communication measures and media relations.
• Monitor and understand key political debates in the Middle East and Europe, providing tailored advice to blue-chip clients and international colleagues.
• Support client acquisition and the development of existing mandates.
• Assist in growing the business and office presence in Dubai.
• Build strong collaborative relationships and inspire stakeholders to deliver high-quality output.
• Pioneer innovative communication formats and ideas.

Requirements

• A master's degree or equivalent is preferred, ideally in communications, media relations, journalism, finance/economics, or political science (e.g., IEP, leading business or communication schools).
• Initial professional experience in journalism, communications, public institutions, consulting, or the financial sector.
• Experience in an agency or consultancy is desirable.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong textual competence and communication skills.
• Organizational skills, personal commitment, and a professional presence.
• Excellent stakeholder management and networking abilities.
• Must be a Saudi national.
