Director of Cloud Solutions

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute the cloud strategy ensuring alignment with business goals.
2. Lead cloud architecture design and implementation across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
3. Oversee cloud security governance and compliance frameworks to meet industry standards.
4. Manage cloud cost optimization, scalability, and performance tuning.
5. Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and software development teams to deploy cloud-native applications.
6. Implement automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevOps best practices.
7. Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and innovations to drive digital transformation.
8. Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and architects.
9. Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure.
10. Build strong relationships with cloud vendors and service providers.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in cloud architecture, solutions, or engineering.
3. Expertise in AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
4. Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and risk management.
5. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
6. Familiarity with microservices architecture, serverless computing, and API management.
7. Proven leadership experience in managing cloud engineering teams.
8. Ability to communicate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Experience in cloud migration, cost optimization, and performance tuning.
