Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director with a proven track record of cultivating and managing high-value relationships across brokers, partners, and key industry stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring established connections, strategic vision, and commercial acumen to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion – Identify, develop, and execute growth strategies to enter new markets and strengthen existing ones.
- Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, distributors, strategic partners, and key decision-makers.
- Revenue Growth – Drive new business opportunities, negotiate high-value deals, and deliver on annual revenue targets.
- Partnership Strategy – Develop and implement structured partner programs to maximise collaboration and mutual value.
- Industry Intelligence – Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform business strategy.
- Leadership – Mentor and guide the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Collaboration – Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record in business development, partnerships, or sales leadership within [relevant industry – e.g., financial services, real estate, insurance, etc.].
- Strong Network – Established relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and strategic partners in the region.
- Minimum 8–10 years’ experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity.
