Job Purpose:
Lead the product management team dedicated to our suite of managed services. This role involves overseeing the development, management, and enhancement of our managed services products portfolio to meet current and future customer needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product management and business development within the technology sector, particularly in large scale managed services, IT outsourcing, and Network as a Service, deep knowledge and understanding of network and infrastructure technologies and trends, demonstrate a proven track record of successful product strategy and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive products portfolio strategy for managed services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
- Define the vision and roadmap for managed service offerings, ensuring continuous innovation and relevance in the market.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee daily operations of managed service product/practice management department, ensuring performance, and scalability to meet business and customer needs.
- Work closely with platform management, operations, and delivery teams to ensure the effective execution of the product roadmap.
- Ensure the timely development and launch of managed service practice products within agreed deadlines.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams responsible for service delivery and product management.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-centric service.
- Setting clear goals and objectives to guide successful product development and enhancements.
Client & Market Engagement:
- Engage with clients to understand their business needs and ensure managed service solutions are tailored to meet specific requirements.
- Collaborate with customers to align managed service practice offerings with their operational and strategic objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities for new or improved managed services.
- Define and execute marketing programs for business development, demand generation, and competitive positioning. , lead generation and maintaining services awareness and communication to external customers and partners for competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, and new markets development.
Product & Business Strategy:
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure product strategies align with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Grow the managed services Revenue and market share to achieve set targets.
- Define pricing and competitive positioning for each managed service product.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, from concept to development, launch, and phase-out.
- Ensure all products meet regulatory, legal, and compliance requirements.
Financial & Vendor Management:
- Manage the managed services practice product development budget, providing financial reports and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, including review meetings, sales tracking, joint go-to-market initiatives, and business plan creation in collaboration with other business units.
- Prepare and present detailed product performance reports, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance service offerings.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in Product Management.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership position.
