Overview

Director - Human Resources at Glow Beauty on Demand. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and motivated Director of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our leadership team. This role leads the HRBP function, providing hands-on strategic HR support to senior leadership and ensuring alignment between the business strategy and the people agenda. You will work with various departments to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent management, and leadership development.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic HR Leadership : Partner with senior business leaders to understand business objectives and align HR strategy accordingly. Lead the HRBP team to develop and execute HR initiatives that support business goals, focusing on organizational design, talent development, and employee engagement. Provide counsel on people-related issues, leadership challenges, organizational effectiveness, and cultural alignment. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the organization.
  • Talent Management & Development : Oversee the talent management strategy, including succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential employee programs. Collaborate with department heads to identify skills gaps, performance improvement areas, and career development opportunities for employees. Implement employee retention strategies and ensure high levels of employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations & Organizational Development : Act as a key point of contact for employee relations issues, ensuring resolution in line with company policies and values. Advise leaders on performance management processes and support the development of corrective actions and improvement plans. Drive initiatives related to organizational change, employee engagement surveys, and culture improvement.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting : Leverage HR metrics to evaluate initiatives and their impact on business results, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Develop reports to track key talent and organizational metrics such as turnover, engagement, and workforce planning.
  • Change Management : Lead HR efforts in supporting change management initiatives, particularly during organizational transformation or growth. Ensure smooth transitions of employees through mergers, acquisitions, restructures, and other major changes.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement : Build strong relationships with department heads, leadership teams, and employees across all levels. Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders in driving a high-performance culture. Collaborate with other HR functions (Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Recruiting) to ensure consistency and alignment in HR strategies.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree in HR or an MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 18+ years in human resources, with at least 8 years in a senior HRBP or leadership role. Proven track record in driving HR strategies in large, complex organizations. Deep experience in talent management, employee relations, organizational development, and business transformation.
  • Skills & Competencies: Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills. Data-driven decision-making. In-depth knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and trends in talent management. Leadership and team management experience with the ability to mentor others.
