About the Role

Valkyrie People Consulting is currently partnering with a leading telecom infrastructure company to identify a seasoned and strategic Director – Human Resources, based in Dubai. This is a critical leadership mandate for a dynamic HR professional with extensive experience in driving people strategy across engineering, infrastructure, or telecom-centric businesses in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

The role will be responsible for overseeing the entire HR function across the Middle East and other key global markets, supporting rapid growth, operational scale-up, and workforce transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR strategy and operations across geographies, aligning talent priorities with overall business goals
  • Manage key HR functions including talent acquisition, organizational development, employee relations, rewards & benefits, and policy governance
  • Build and scale people processes to support large-scale infrastructure projects and field-based technical teams
  • Partner closely with business leadership to drive workforce planning, performance management, leadership development, and succession planning
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization
  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Leverage HR technology and analytics for smarter, data-driven decision-making
  • Develop and lead initiatives to enhance employee experience, retention, and cultural integration across regions

Candidate Profile

  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in telecom, engineering, infrastructure, or project-based industries is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of managing HR across multi-country or regional environments, ideally within the Middle East
  • Strong business partnership mindset, with the ability to influence C-suite and operational leadership
  • Deep understanding of employment law and HR governance in the UAE and GCC
  • MBA or PGDM in HR from a reputed institution preferred
