Job description

Being a significant, producing part of the sales team focusing on Financial Institutions MEA, delivering agreed sales and revenue targets across the Global Markets along with identifying and cultivating cross-sell opportunities within the sectors and geographies prescribed to build long-term sustainable relationships aimed at firmly establishing FAB as the regional leader.

GMS FI MEA main accountabilities and responsibilities:

  1. Enhancing cross-border execution, migration of best practices across all sales teams;
  2. Driving a result-oriented, transparent global performance culture;
  3. Development of leadership talent for the team and FAB as a whole.

Creating a dynamic, scalable, multi-jurisdictional transparent performance culture capable of leading strategic and tactical initiatives from EXCO.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Ensure adherence to all GM Sales requirements across clients, in line with FAB's regulatory, compliance, and best practice standards.
  2. Ensure high-quality execution and build/maintain strong relationships with GM product teams, Relationship Managers, and support staff.
  3. Be a strong team player, working closely with members of the GM Sales Team and supporting as required.
  4. Ensure client/internal/monetary issues are escalated appropriately within a suitable timeframe.
  5. Participate in client events, forums, and off-site events as required.
  6. Maximize customer flow activity and cross-selling opportunities to support the GM business.
  7. Coverage & Segment Coverage: include Sovereigns, Financial Institutions, Non-Bank Financial Institutions as required.
  8. GM Sales Credit or Macro Flow: work in the capacity of flow sales as required, covering FX (G10/EM), deposits, loans, repos, credit, FX options (G10/EM), IRS, TRS, e-commerce, commodities, equities, other derivatives, Islamic products, etc.
  9. Geographical Coverage: include locations such as Abu Dhabi, Dubai, London, Paris, Singapore, Cairo, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, or as directed by your line manager.

  • UAE National
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree
  • 5-10 years of experience in global markets or treasury departments within local or international banking.
