About the Job :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Director - Finance to join Madinat Jumeirah . The main responsibilities include :

• Oversee the Finance and Accounting department to ensure accurate and timely financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial directives, legal regulations, and internal controls. Maintain accurate books, records, and monthly reconciliations; prepare financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Lead annual budgets and monthly forecasts; recommend economic objectives and policies.
• Manage capital purchases and disposals; review management and depreciation reports.
• Develop and contribute to finance strategies; prepare ROI evaluations for capital projects.
• Provide financial training and coaching; set development plans for team members.

About You :

The ideal candidate will have :

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 5-star luxury hotel.

A university degree in Finance and professional accreditation (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CIMA).

Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of Opera, Micros, Sun, and Hyperion.

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
