As a Director, you will support senior colleagues in preparing audit strategy, manage a portfolio, organize and review work, oversee a team of Managers and Associates, and serve as a key client contact. You will also dive into business development, lead strategic initiatives, and foster innovation to exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Work strategically with the leadership team to drive the growth of the business
• Develop a high‑profile market presence among the Public Sector and promote the firm’s brand
• Work toward RI status and sign off audits
• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the team and portfolio on behalf of the Partner
• Build a strong internal and external network to support business development
• Manage a key client portfolio while building and maintaining good relationships with colleagues and clients
• Lead engagements with Public Sector clients
• Agree and negotiate client fees per engagement as appropriate

Qualifications

• 11+ years of external audit experience in a top international firm
• Professional qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA)
• Extensive post‑qualification audit experience working with a diverse range of businesses
• Confidence in IFRS, internal controls, and consolidation of financial statements
• Strong network of Public Sector clients in the UAE market
• Fluency in Arabic
• Passion for business development and desire to develop strategy for the team
• Significant leadership experience in audit practice
• Experience working on large audits and complex groups, including complex technical matters
• Strong knowledge of compliance and regulation
• Proven ability to inspire and develop people
