Job summary

Grant Thornton UAE in Dubai is seeking an experienced Manager to support senior colleagues in audit strategy, manage a diverse client portfolio, and lead a team of Senior Associates & Associates. You will be a primary client contact, drive business development, and advance innovative, high-quality assurance services.

You’ll oversee planning, review work, manage budgets, and ensure timely, profitable delivery across industries while mentoring your team and upholding the firm’s standards.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of External Audit experience in a top international firm.
• Professionally qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA).
• Extensive post‑qualification audit experience.
• Confident in IFRS, internal controls, and consolidation of financial statements.
• Experience working on complex group audits and delegating workloads accordingly.
• Able to manage a large portfolio and work on multiple audit engagements at a time.
• Comfortable using audit software and Microsoft packages.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical skills and networking skills required.
• Willingness to work additional hours and travel as needed.
• Must have an experience in Asset Management (Funds, wealth and asset management, Private Equity, Venture capital).
• Digital Asset or Crypto experience will be a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Leading on audit reviews, agreeing audit timetables, briefing the audit team and monitoring budgets
• Ensuring that all work allocated is done profitably and timely in accordance with the firm's professional standards and to the satisfaction of clients and engagement partners
• Managing, motivating, and coaching team members and providing feedback through regular communication
• Managing a diverse portfolio of clients in different industries and markets
• Assisting the Audit Partner in establishing audit objectives and overall scope
• Planning and coordinating all aspects of audit planning, including resourcing requirements
• Checking that audit work papers are properly reviewed and that audit files are completed in a timely manner
• Finalising draft reports for management
