The Director for Escrow Product is responsible for leading the strategic vision, development, and management of our escrow product offerings. This role aims to ensure the delivery of innovative, secure, and efficient escrow solutions that meet market demands and regulatory requirements. The Director will drive product excellence by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing market trends, and prioritizing customer needs to enhance the overall product portfolio and achieve business growth.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch of the product.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality escrow products that meet customer needs and regulatory standards.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
- Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, technology, and operations teams to ensure cohesive product development and implementation.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience and satisfaction with escrow products.
- Track and report on key product performance metrics.
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize product success.
- Align product development with business goals.
- Develop business requirements as the basis for technical development, operations, payments, processing, and other cross-functional departments to support product development and ongoing enhancements.
- Handle product roll-out regionally and globally for all escrow propositions.
- Manage risk assessment activities and reports.
- Maintain regulatory and legal compliance for all escrow products.
- Attend client meetings with CM Advisory/Coverage RMs and analyze project revenue details.
- Re-assess FTP benefits from GT and determine applicable interest payable to developers on a agreed frequency.
- Update the standard tariff structure of Escrow Management periodically.
- Liaise with regulators regarding escrow laws/regulations for smooth operations.
- Vet commercial escrow agreements with legal teams, open escrow accounts, check payment requests for compliance, liaise with payment teams for execution, and close accounts as needed.
- Coordinate with staff from GTB Advisory, Client Services, Payment Centre, Channel Support, Branch network, Relationship Managers, IT, Operations, and other stakeholders during implementation.
- Review client agreements and service standards to ensure high service quality.

Qualifications
Knowledge:
- Excellent understanding of escrow propositions, laws, regulations, and practices.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging escrow technologies.
- Strong regulatory compliance understanding.
- Ability to navigate legal and regulatory landscapes.
- Knowledge of cash management products and financial principles.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to enhance offerings based on customer insights.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is preferable.
