Role:

A Business Development Representative is needed to expand our customer base within the Corporate segment in the Middle East. This role focuses on identifying and developing new market opportunities, delivering Moody's value proposition, and collaborating with internal teams like Domain Sales Specialists, Solutions Specialists, and Industry Practice Leads to lead sales cycles for comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and initiate new sales opportunities by prospecting and leveraging existing client relationships.
  • Understand client decision-making processes, priorities, and needs deeply.
  • Utilize insights into the Corporate segments to identify opportunities and risks, addressing them effectively.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key customers, involving senior executives as needed.
  • Manage sales cycles, lead meetings, presentations, workshops, and client engagements with relevant specialists.
  • Provide sales forecasts and pipeline updates to management.
  • Achieve sales targets while building and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Generate revenue through market research, lead generation, and product solutions, while defending and growing existing revenue streams.
  • Represent Moody's at industry and company events.

Travel is required for this position.

Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience selling complex solutions to Corporate or Government clients.
  • Experience in Risk Intelligence or Risk Technology solutions (e.g., AML, Compliance, Data Management).
  • Proven ability to manage end-to-end sales processes for large, complex deals.
  • Strong influence over decision-makers throughout the sales cycle.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience in the Middle East region.
  • Strong work ethics, independence, systematic approach, persuasiveness, and friendliness.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred.
