Job description

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Direct Sales Agent (DSA) to join our merchant acquiring team. The DSA will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and acquiring new merchants to our payment processing platform. This role involves extensive fieldwork, direct interactions with business owners, and a deep understanding of the payment solutions industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and target potential merchants for onboarding to our payment processing platform.
  2. Present and demonstrate the benefits of our merchant acquiring services to prospective clients.
  3. Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve monthly targets.
  4. Client Relationship Management:
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  6. Act as the main point of contact for merchant queries and issues, providing prompt and effective solutions.
  7. Market Research and Analysis:
  8. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends in the merchant acquiring space.
  9. Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on market and client insights.
  10. Reporting:
  11. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including merchant details, sales pipeline, and performance metrics.
  12. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to the Sales Manager.
  13. Compliance and Documentation:
  14. Ensure that all merchant documentation and KYC requirements are completed accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
  15. Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in direct sales, preferably in merchant acquiring, payment processing, or related financial services.
  3. Knowledge: Understanding of the merchant acquiring business, payment processing solutions, and the fintech industry.
  4. Licenses/Certifications: UAE driving license is required and will be an advantage.
