Job summary

CERT The Centre of Excellence for Applied Research & Training is seeking an Internal Verifier to safeguard quality and standards for a Diploma Level 4 program in the United Arab Emirates. The IV will work with the Qualification Developer to ensure design, assessment, and evidence meet NQC and SQC requirements and are ready for external verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, security studies, policing, law, or related field (Essential)
• Master's degree in related field (Desirable)
• Recognized internal verification/IQA/IV award plus assessor award (Essential)
• External verifier or lead IQA award (Desirable)

Responsibilities

• Verify that unit specifications, learning outcomes and assessment criteria align with NQC/SQC descriptors
• Verify assessment instruments cover criteria at the right level with no gaps
• Sign off instruments and marking schemes before release
• Feedback verification findings to Qualification Developer and track corrective actions
• Lead standardization meetings and induct new assessors
• Maintain verification records and prepare for external verification visits
