Role’s Purpose: As part of the FUE Digital Performance team, the responsibility of the Information System’s functional consultant will be to:

  • Contribute to, or Lead (project manage) the deployment of new and existing digital solutions securely in the business.
  • Facilitate, analyze and document business requirements and processes.
  • Execute change management actions, including training and user adoption.
  • Monitor impact (operational / financial KPIs) and support and improve the deployed business footprint.

The objective of the Digital Performance department is to enable or improve efficiency of the business process with digital technology.

The role of a functional IS consultant requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills. By leveraging their knowledge and experience, IS consultants help organizations optimize their information systems, improve operational efficiency, and achieve their strategic business objectives

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

This comprises:

  • Analyze the business requirements, processes, and IT landscape to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Understand the existing information systems, their capabilities, and any pain points or inefficiencies.
  • Provide expert analysis on feasibility and features to the business and contribute to the overall roadmap and solution architecture.
  • Implement and configure new or existing software systems, ensuring seamless integration with the existing architecture.
  • Where applicable, design and specify customized solutions to address the client's specific needs, such as improving data management, enhancing user experience, or streamlining business workflows.
  • Provide comprehensive training and support to key / end users on the use and maintenance of the implemented solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the implemented systems, making adjustments and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong communication with the business, providing regular progress updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in information systems management.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of DxT’s own methodologies and tools.
  • Manage change with user adoption of tools
  • Capture and implement enhancements or innovation opportunities (e.g. Data analytics, automation, AI..)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

SOFT SKILLS & WORK CONDITIONS

The following competencies are required:

  • Technical or computer science degree.
  • 5+ years of IS consulting including specific system implementation experience.
  • Proficiency in enterprise software applications, such as ERP, CRM, or business intelligence systems.
  • Project management certificate or experience is a plus
  • Experience of lean methods is a plus
  • Agile methodology experience is a plus (Scrum)
  • Advanced Office 365 skills
  • Languages: English mandatory, French, Arabic bonus.
