Digital Solution Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, we are looking for Engineers with Industry Domain Expertise to conceptualize, define, and build Industry-Specific Digital Solutions in our Industrial Automation Digital Organization. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Mechanical maintenance and operations domain, particularly in maintenance of large Rotary and static equipment such as multistage pumps, compressors, turbines, turbochargers, mechanical seals, bearings, boilers, furnaces, storage tanks, motors, and transformers. Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, planning, inspection programs, shutdowns/overhauls, spares planning, vibration and lube oil analysis, failure modes analysis, and participating in RCAs and incident investigations.

Location

This role contributes to the Process Automation business for the Digital Value Engineering division based in Bangalore, India.

Main responsibilities

1. Conceptualize designs for value engineering scenarios to incorporate into digital transformation solutions related to asset performance management, maintenance strategies, planning, inspections, condition-based maintenance, RCM, CBM, predictive maintenance, spares management, and workforce management.
2. Collaborate with customers and business units to architect and develop customer-centric solutions tailored to their requirements.
3. Develop digital solution ‘Proof of Concepts’ to demonstrate customer value effectively.
4. Provide industry-specific domain insights for proposal responses by articulating customer value propositions.
5. Create functional specifications for innovative digital solutions and develop initial models with validation.
6. Develop prototypes and proof of concepts for digital solutions in an agile manner.

Qualifications

• B. Tech/M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institutes with excellent academic records.
• 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Maintenance within the Refinery, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power Generation, or Process domains.
• Strong expertise in mechanical maintenance and operations, with good understanding of industrial analytics and digital transformation solutions.
• Hands-on experience with maintenance of large rotary and static equipment, including strategy, planning, inspection, vibration and oil analysis, failure modes, RCAs, and incident investigations.
