Job summary

Quisitive, a leading global Microsoft partner, is seeking a senior security advisor to guide customer security programs in the cloud era. You will run recurring coaching sessions, perform tactical reviews, and discuss executive priorities to drive risk-informed decisions.

You will translate complex security findings into business-ready recommendations, collaborate with MDR/SecOps and Customer Success, and advise on Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview. Periodic travel is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, cloud security, or MSP roles.
• Strong advisory and stakeholder influence with clients.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security products.
• Knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI, or HIPAA.
• Ability to translate security data into actionable guidance.
• Willingness to travel up to 10–15%.

• Translate technical findings into business-focused recommendations and security roadmaps
• Partner with MDR/SecOps and Customer Success teams to align customer priorities and risks
• Provide guidance across Microsoft security capabilities including Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID, and Purview
• Conduct security architecture and adoption planning to optimize Microsoft tool value
• Prepare advisement materials, tactical decks, and quarterly executive summaries

Requirements

• 8+ years of cybersecurity, cloud security, or managed security services experience
• Strong client-facing advisory and stakeholder influence skills
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security products (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview)
• Understanding of security frameworks like NIST CSF, CIS Controls, PCI, or HIPAA
• Ability to translate complex security data into actionable recommendations
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel periodically (up to 10-15%)

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft security certifications (SC-100, AZ-500, etc.)
• Experience working alongside MDR, SOC, or SecOps teams
• Experience with Enterprise Mobility + Security and Office 365 security features
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, or GSEC
