Job summary

Avertium is seeking a senior cybersecurity consultant in Dubai to collaborate with clients on strategy, frameworks, and roadmaps, delivering robust security programs across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

You will lead projects, advise clients, design secure architectures, and stay ahead of threats through research and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT audit, or related role.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in network and system security concepts and secure architecture design.
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to apply industry standards such as CIS, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA.
• Expertise in Microsoft Cloud (Azure, M365) and security tools like Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Entra.
• Experience with IAM, PAM, SIEM, and SOAR solutions.
• Proficiency in DevOps/SecDevOps practices including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting.
• Familiarity with data management tools like ELK Stack, SQL, or NoSQL
