Job description

This role is responsible for the distribution of electronic FX to our clients and the origination of FX Digital solutions across electronic FX and integrated solutions with Services. With the evolving FX technology landscape, this is an integral role in the evolution of the FX business and how we service our clients. The candidate will join the UK, Europe, and MEA FX Digital Sales team, based in Dubai, focusing on Digital sales for financial institutions across ME and Turkey. This team is part of the Global FX Digital Sales organization, within FX Markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve ambitious goals in FX Digital revenue, market, and wallet share from the designated client franchise, supporting growth in the voice business.
  • Distribute Citi's electronic FX liquidity to financial institution clients.
  • Utilize internal and external data to inform client pricing strategies, balancing revenue and returns.
  • Originate and execute strategies to win marquee mandates, grow net new business, and acquire new clients in electronic FX, Custody FX, and cross-border payments.
  • Gather client feedback, understand client needs, and collaborate with FX Trading, FX Product, and Technology teams to deliver new integrated products and solutions.
  • Stay informed of market trends and updates to internal partners.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across Trading, FX Product, FX Digital Sales, FX Sales, Banking, and Services.
  • Enhance client engagement with their Digital strategies.
  • Assess risks appropriately in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and maintaining high ethical standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in electronic FX sales is essential; this is not an entry-level position.
  • Proven track record in client-facing roles, with skills in relationship management, value-added service, and business growth.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for business origination and developing new relationships and solutions.
  • Keen interest in digitalization and FX markets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team ethic and ability to build effective relationships across the business network.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification.
