Job summary

ADNOC Group is seeking a Petroleum/Mechanical Engineer to provide technical expertise for optimizing oil and gas field production using digital oil field concepts. The role focuses on real time modelling, monitoring, and smart well surveillance to balance injection and production.

Applicants should have a strong background in petroleum engineering, with extensive experience in workovers, completions, testing and production operations, and a track record of implementing new technologies in field

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
10 years of petroleum engineering experience including workover, completion, well testing and production operations.

Responsibilities

Prepares technical background and summaries related to Digital Oil Field concept for specific operational issues.
Identifies and participates in development of new technologies/solutions to improve operations practices.
Supports DOF programme related to rigless operations, testing and stimulation for optimization.
Participates in commissioning and implementation of field trials; monitors testing and drafts reports.
Surveys the market to identify gas lift optimization techniques and plan pilots.
Identifies use of downhole tools to support DOF across fields.
Advises on remote monitoring, control and surveillance tools for reservoir management.
Initiates TOR and SOW for DOF applications and conducts technical evaluation.
Maps key production processes and data requirements to optimize operations.
