Job summary

ADNOC is seeking an experienced Senior Petroleum Engineer in Abu Dhabi to optimize oil and gas field production via real-time dynamic modelling and advanced monitoring. The role focuses on DOF concepts, smart well completions, and remote surveillance to balance injection and production.

You will drive technology evaluation, pilot studies, and field trials, and collaborate across units to improve efficiency and performance in challenging environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10 years' experience in petroleum engineering including workover, completion, well testing and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical background for Digital Oil Field concepts and optimize production through real time modelling.
• Identify and develop new technologies/solutions to improve operations practices.
• Support DOF programme for rigless operations, testing and stimulation to optimize wells.
• Participate in field trials, monitor performance and draft evaluation reports.
• Survey the market for gas lift optimization techniques and plan pilots for proof of concept.
• Define downhole sensing and control needs to support DOF in all fields.
• Advise on remote monitoring and surveillance tools for reservoir management.
• Initiate TOR/SOW for DOF applications and perform technical evaluation.
• Map production management processes and identify required data/tools.
