Digital Learning Coordinator

Job Purpose

To contribute to the creation of innovative and interactive digital learning solutions incorporating photography, videography, and graphic design. The role holder is required to develop engaging, effective, and visually compelling digital learning content, including interactive modules, videos, and simulations, under the guidance of the Digital Learning Officer.

Execute

1. Digital Media Production: Design and develop digital learning materials using a blend of photography, videography, and graphic design to create visually engaging and pedagogically sound content. This includes interactive eLearning modules, instructional videos, animations, and graphics.
2. Technical Implementation: Expertly utilize a range of authoring tools, video editing software, and graphic design tools (such as Articulate 360, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop) to produce high-quality digital learning solutions that are accessible across various platforms and devices.
3. Collaborative Content Creation: Work closely with the Digital Learning Officer and subject matter experts to ensure that visual content supports learning goals. Contribute creative ideas for visual storytelling and instructional design.
4. Quality Assurance and Accessibility: Ensure all digital learning materials are functionally sound, accessible, and adhere to industry standards for quality and usability across different platforms, including mobile devices. Conduct thorough testing for user experience and accessibility.
5. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in digital learning, photography, videography, and graphic design. Continuously explore and recommend innovative approaches to enhance the visual and instructional quality of digital learning content.
6. Content Maintenance and Updates: Regularly review, update, and refresh digital learning content to ensure technical accuracy, relevance, and engagement. Address technical and design issues promptly to maintain high-quality learning experiences.

Qualification

Qualifications & Experience

1. Diploma or Certificate in multimedia, educational technology or other related fields.

Experience

1. 4+ years of experience in digital learning development, with a strong portfolio in photography, videography, and graphic design within educational content.

Skills & Knowledge

1. Proficient in eLearning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360) and multimedia editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop).
2. Competent in photography and videography, including editing and post-production processes.
3. Advanced graphic design skills with a keen eye for layout, colour, and typography.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with instructional designers and subject matter experts to deliver solutions.
5. Creative problem-solving skills and an innovative approach to digital learning.
6. Knowledge of web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
7. Knowledge of Game Development in Unity or Unreal Engine (C# or C++) is advantageous.
8. Effective project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
