Digital Health Technology Consultant

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare clients to understand their specific technological needs, goals, and challenges.
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing healthcare systems, infrastructure, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
• Research and recommend healthcare technology solutions, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, telemedicine platforms, data analytics tools, and other relevant technologies.
• Evaluate vendor products and provide expertise in selecting the most suitable solutions based on client requirements.
• Develop and execute implementation plans for healthcare technology solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of software and hardware components.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure a smooth transition.
• Analyze healthcare workflows and processes to identify areas where technology can streamline operations and improve patient care.
• Implement workflow enhancements and provide training to staff to ensure efficient use of new technologies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy regulations, such as HIPAA, and implement robust security measures to protect patient information.
• Establish data management protocols and assist in data migration and conversion efforts.
• Act as a liaison between healthcare organizations, IT teams, and technology vendors to facilitate communication and alignment of objectives.
• Provide regular updates and reports to clients and management on project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in a similar role in the healthcare industry, or consulting.
• Proven track record of successfully engaging with clients and delivering solutions that address their healthcare challenges.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive in identifying opportunities and recommending solutions.
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, understand complex healthcare issues and propose suitable solutions.
• Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter and comfortable with extreme ambiguity.
