In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• AI product strategy and vision: define and own the AI capability roadmap across sales, service, branch, contact centre and online channels, translating ADCB's AI-first strategy into a prioritised set of use cases with named business owners, target outcomes and value cases. Establish the measurable outcomes - customer experience, conversion, cost to serve, handle time, staff productivity - against which every initiative is judged.
• Backlog ownership at scale: own and continuously prioritise a large, fast-moving backlog of AI initiatives spanning multiple business lines and channels. Make hard sequencing calls, kill use cases that are not earning their place, and keep a coherent through-line from MVP to target state across dozens of parallel demands.
• Sales staff enablement: put AI into the daily workflow of relationship managers and sales teams - next best action, product recommendations, lead prioritisation, propensity and churn signals, meeting preparation and automated follow-up - so that frontline colleagues spend more time with customers and less time on administration.
• Branch and contact centre transformation: redesign end-to-end journeys so that AI removes manual steps, shortens handle times and improves first-contact resolution. Drive agent-assist, intelligent routing, real-time knowledge surfacing, summarisation and post-interaction automation, and hold the line on quality as volumes shift between assisted and self-service channels.
• Senior stakeholder engagement: act as the principal bridge between business executives, channel leadership, operations and technology. Facilitate the workshops that surface the highest-value opportunities, build consensus on priorities and cost-benefit trade-offs, and be willing to challenge senior stakeholders constructively when the evidence points somewhere other than the prevailing view.
• Agile delivery leadership: lead delivery teams through planning, refinement, sprint execution and release. Write and maintain clear user stories, acceptance criteria and success metrics, and prioritise on business value, customer impact, risk reduction and regulatory obligation. Keep multiple squads moving in the same direction without losing delivery discipline.
• Value realisation and productivity measurement: instrument every capability so that benefits are tracked rather than asserted. Report adoption, usage and business performance to executive sponsors, and use that evidence to reinvest, iterate or retire - building the Bank's credibility on AI outcomes one proven use case at a time.
• AI governance, risk and regulatory compliance: ensure every solution complies with regulatory requirements, data privacy obligations and internal risk frameworks, in strict alignment with ADCB's AI Centre of Excellence, Compliance, Risk and Data Privacy teams. Build responsible AI practice into the delivery process rather than bolting it on at the end.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience

• A track record of delivering AI capabilities that transformed how a Retail and Corporate Banking business operates, with outcomes you can point to and defend.
• Direct experience unlocking Retail Banking AI use cases end to end - from identifying the opportunity, through delivery, to adoption and measured value.
• Strong expertise across generative AI, predictive analytics and agentic AI, whether delivered through Salesforce AI capabilities or integrated with other models and platforms.
• Proven ability to translate AI capability into measurable business outcomes, and the commercial judgement to distinguish a compelling demonstration from a viable use case.
• At least 6 years delivering projects using Salesforce, preferably within a financial institution.
• Experience managing a large and competing backlog of initiatives across multiple business lines and channels.
• The presence and credibility to engage, influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
• Strong Agile, Scrum and scaled delivery experience, with real accountability for leading delivery teams.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant specialisation, strong planning, analytical and time management skills, and very good written and spoken English.
