Confidential in Dubai is seeking an experienced heavy-duty truck mechanic to diagnose, service and repair diesel trucks and tankers, handling major overhauls and preventive maintenance.

You will operate diagnostic tools such as OBD scanners and Jaltest, document findings, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while collaborating with the fleet team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a heavy truck mechanic for major servicing.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and truck components.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Familiarity with brands like Scania, Volvo, MAN is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy trucks and diesel tankers, including major service tasks.
• Use diagnostic tools and software (OBD scanners, Jaltest) to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical problems (engine, transmission, suspension).
• Replace or repair faulty components (fuel, hydraulic, electrical systems).
• Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and results.
• Collaborate with team to reduce downtime and ensure timely servicing.
