Job summary

Uae Job Alert is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join our Toyota and Lexus team across the UAE. You will use diagnostic equipment and service tools to identify issues and perform maintenance and repairs following Fix It Right protocols.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Service Advisors and other Technicians. A technical diploma or ITI/ITC, 2–3 years relevant experience, and a UAE driving license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in a technical field or equivalent (ITI/NCVT/ITC).
• 2–3 years of diagnostic technician experience at a major automotive dealership.
• Valid UAE driving license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and general vehicle repairs.
• Use diagnostic equipment to inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, A/C, electrical systems, and hybrids.
• Prepare technical reports and escalate via the Aftersales Distributor Team.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and fellow Technicians in a fast-paced workshop.

Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Diagnostic Technicians to join our Toyota and Lexus team across the UAE.

As a Diagnostic Technician, you will utilize diagnostic equipment and special service tools to identify vehicle issues. Your role will involve performing maintenance and repairs while following the Fix It Right process to minimize repeat repairs.

• Key Responsibilities
• Conduct routine maintenance and general repairs on vehicles.
• Demonstrate manual skills and technical proficiency for mechanical tasks.
• Collaborate with the Technical Advisor to gather data for Repair Support Requests and Branch Field
• Technical Reports, submitted to the Aftersales Distributor Team for escalations.
• Show a willingness to learn through hands-on training.
• Required Skills for Success
• Experience: 2 to 3 years as a Diagnostic Technician at a major automotive dealership, focusing on diagnosis and general mechanical repairs.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to effectively use diagnostic equipment and special service tools to inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, A/C, electrical systems, and hybrids.
• Repair Skills: Competence in basic diagnostics, unit repairs, A/C parts replacement, and general mechanical repairs.
• Language: Proficient in English.

  About the Team
  In this role, you will report to the Workshop Manager and work in a fast-paced workshop environment, collaborating daily with Service Advisors, Controllers, Foremen, and fellow Technicians.

• Qualifications
• Educational Background: Diploma in a technical field, ITI (Industrial Training Institute NCVT Certificate), or ITC.
• Experience: 2 to 3 years as a Diagnostic Technician.
• Additional Asset: Valid UAE driving license.
• Record Keeping: Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate job order records.
• Protocol Understanding: Familiarity with AFM Toyota After Sales protocols and the ability to work within those guidelines.
