Job description

As a Diabetes Medical Manager, you will play an essential role within the Medical Affairs team and focus on furthering scientific exchange between the company and the medical community. Your main accountabilities will include:

  1. Delivering medical and scientific knowledge through both internal and external activities.
  2. Ensuring that Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Medical Specialists, and other relevant stakeholders are kept aware and possess the adequate tools to support their fight against Diabetes and related therapeutic areas.
  3. Developing & managing Product Medical strategy, delivering best-in-class scientific activities and educational programs, publication planning, and maintaining a regular voice within UAE Medical Community.
  4. Supporting and enforcing research activities from a medical standpoint with internal as well as external stakeholders.
  5. Maintaining close cooperation and support in a cross-functional manner with our CMR, Market Access, Marketing, and Sales Teams and managing field-based medical activities.

Qualifications

  1. A medical degree (Medicine / Pharmacy / Dentistry) and experience in diabetes therapy areas with scientific and pharmaceutical understanding.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of industry or clinical experience relevant to the company's therapeutic interests in endocrinology and diabetes.
  3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, team player, ambitious, self-motivated, proactive, with excellent planning and a highly organized mindset.
  4. Previous experience with research and real-world evidence generation, and experience in or exposure to product launch planning from a medical standpoint.
  5. Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects and multitasking capability.
  6. Preferably a minimum of 1 year of experience in People Management or as a manager.
  7. Hands-on medical Excellence, Governance, and medical omnichannel experience is preferred.
  8. Excellent medical communication skills and fluency in English.
