In this role you will provide essential nursing support to patients in the comfort of their homes contributing to their healing and wellbeing. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that promote a safe and supportive environment for patients working closely with a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Registered Nurses in delivering direct patient care including daily living activities and personal hygiene
  • Monitor vital signs, report any changes to the healthcare team, and assist with basic medical procedures
  • Support patients in mobility and ensure their safety during daily activities
  • Help manage medication regimens and provide reminders to patients
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records
  • Educate patients and their families about ongoing health maintenance
  • Follow infection control procedures to promote a safe healthcare environment

Requirements
  • Valid DHA certification as an Assistant Nurse
  • Experience in homecare or related nursing fields is preferred
