About The Role:

We are seeking a DevOps Security Architect to join our dynamic team. The candidate will design and implement security strategies, policies, and solutions within our DevOps processes and environments, collaborating closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure code deployment, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and systems. This role is critical in integrating security seamlessly into our DevOps workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement security architecture into DevOps pipelines, ensuring secure software delivery from development to production.
2. DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps, security, and development teams to embed security measures across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated workflows.
3. Secure Infrastructure Management: Architect and maintain secure cloud environments, automation, and deployment pipelines, ensuring compliance with security policies.
4. Threat Modelling & Risk Assessment: Identify and assess security risks, developing mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities.
5. Security Automation: Implement tools for automated code scanning, vulnerability assessment, and remediation.
6. Incident Response & Monitoring: Define and manage incident response procedures and monitoring tools to detect vulnerabilities and threats.
7. Collaboration & Training: Work with teams to promote a security-first mindset, providing security training and fostering a security culture.
8. Compliance & Governance: Ensure practices adhere to industry standards and regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
9. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on security trends and ensure the DevOps environment evolves to mitigate new risks.

Experience:

• 10+ years in DevOps, security, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience in security-focused roles within DevOps environments.
• Experience designing security architecture for cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and secure deployment practices.
• Knowledge of cloud security practices and tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools.
• Familiarity with container security (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms.
