Job summary

La Fosse in Dubai is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure for an ecommerce platform. You will design, deploy and maintain scalable, highly available systems in AWS/GCP, build automated CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot production incidents.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong AWS/GCP, IaC expertise (Terraform/CloudFormation), and experience with Magento or similar commerce platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with cloud experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS and/or GCP production environments.
• Experience with e-commerce or digital commerce platforms is a must.
• Hands-on with Magento/Adobe Commerce or equivalents are highly desirable.
• IaC experience with Terraform/CloudFormation preferred.
• CI/CD pipelines, Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS/EKS).
• Monitoring/observability using New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch or Grafana.
• Experience handling production incidents and RCA.
• Networking, CDN, load balancing, DNS, security, backups, DR.
• Autonomous, ownership-driven in a lean DevOps setting.

DevOps Engineer – E-Commerce

Dubai, UAE | Permanent

Package: AED 18,000–23,000 per month, depending on experience.

Key Requirements – Please Review Before Applying

• 5+ years’ experience within DevOps, SRE, Cloud Infrastructure or Systems Administration
• Strong hands‑on experience across AWS and/or GCP production environments
• Previous e-commerce / digital commerce experience (MUST HAVE)
• Hands‑on exposure to Magento / Adobe Commerce or comparable commerce platforms such as CommerceTools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware, Spryker or PrestaShop highly desirable
• Experience supporting high‑availability, mission‑critical, customer‑facing platforms
• Strong experience with Infrastructure‑as‑Code, ideally Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and container orchestration such as Kubernetes, ECS or EKS
• Strong monitoring and observability experience using tools such as New Relic, Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana and/or PagerDuty
• Proven experience managing production incidents, root cause analysis and platform performance
• Strong understanding of networking, CDN, load balancing, DNS, security, backup and disaster recovery
• Comfortable taking significant ownership within a lean, highly autonomous DevOps environment

E-commerce / digital retail experience is the strongest match, but backgrounds within banking, fintech, telecommunications or other mission‑critical technology environments will also be considered.

You’ll need to be technically hands‑on, highly self‑sufficient and comfortable taking ownership when production needs attention — including occasional critical incidents outside normal working hours.

For an exceptional profile, there is flexibility to elevate the position to Senior Engineer level with an increased package.
