DevOps Engineer

Your role

We are seeking an experienced professional in configuring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters. Your responsibility at Saab Ltd will be to configure and maintain the hardware and software of our development and production clusters.

In this role, you will work extensively with:

• Linux
• Containers
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Ceph
• Vault
• Databases (structured and unstructured)
• Network security
• HPC

Required skills:

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator
• Experience configuring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum three years of relevant experience
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Open-mindedness and quick learning ability

Desired skills:

• Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Ansible, SaltStack, etc.
• Knowledge of containers and microservice architectures
• Experience with structured and unstructured databases like Postgres and MongoDB
• Ability to implement and maintain DevSecOps protocols
• Network security and optimization experience
• Experience with CI/CD and testing pipelines like Gitlab, Jenkins, Tekton, etc.
• Interest or knowledge in data science/AI
• Programming skills, e.g., Python or Julia

This position requires passing a security screening in accordance with Saab's internal processes.
