We are currently seeking a Detention & Demurrage Controller to join our team at CMA CGM AND ANL (NE) LLC in Dubai.

MISSION

Within Detention & Demurrage department in Head Office, you will have to assist the manager in the revenues management and control relating to this activity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. For the geographical area you are in charge of, you draw up and update the main coordinates into a form for each Agency.
  2. Using GAIA, QLIKVIEW, AdDIVA softwares, you render the 10th of each month, statistics and KPI for each Agent: invoiced amounts or remaining to be invoiced (TBI) and collected amounts or remaining to be collected (Aging Customer Balances) for a better vision of performances.
  3. You compare the revenues for the present year with those of last year and plan for the next year.
  4. The two first weeks of each month, you have to give a collection and a balance reduction target to the Agents by analyzing their Aging Customer Balance and remind them for the DDSM revenues remaining to be invoiced via LARA and then to be collected (jointly with your binomial in the Revenue Control department).
  5. The third week of each month, you have to check and confirm the accounting data integrity relating to the D&D revenues credited by the Agents through their MGA (Control of the basis and Accounting reconciliation thanks to the PL/SQL Developper tool).
  6. The fourth week of each month, you have to finalize the collections and fill the dashboard synthesizing all these data and controls and to compile the MGA credits per Agent and per business unit requested for our Monthly Reporting to the Top Management.
  7. Finally, you have to identify with GAIA, the containers full but not claimed or not returned empty to the depot for more than 60 days and build up a file to be managed with the logistics managers of the Agency and the Head Office.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

You have a postgraduate degree (+2/3 years) in Management - Accounting, speak English fluently and are proficient in Office tools. Your team spirit, curiosity, responsiveness and organisational skills will enable you to be successful in the performance of your duties. Ideally, you are proficient with LARA.
