Job summary

A leading company in the UAE is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer for a 3-year contract in Abu Dhabi. The role requires expertise in Manage Engine Tools, Microsoft products, and significant communication skills. Candidates should hold a valid UAE driving license and relevant certifications for effective support and administration of desktop environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8.
• Must have a UAE Driving License.
• Ability to operate and support Blackberry and iPad.

Responsibilities

• Support and manage desktop environments using Manage Engine Tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users.

   • Manage Engine Desktop Central Enterprise Edition 9.0
   • Manage Engine OS Deployer 4.0
   • Manage Engine Mobile Device Management
2. Microsoft Windows Terminal Server
3. Knowledge of asset discovery tools such as Lansweeper, Altiris, SCCM
4. Ability to operate and support Blackberry and iPad
5. Experience with Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
6. Active Directory and Exchange experience
7. Good verbal and written communication skills

Desirable Skills and Certifications

1. Working knowledge of Remote Control Tools, e.g., Dameware, SCCM, Terminal Services
2. ITSM Tools, e.g., Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, Remedy, TSRM
3. Microsoft Certification, ideally MCP or MCSE

5. Experience with BTEC Computer Science, A and N levels
