Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares Civil & Structural Engineering Drawings.
• Prepares Civil General Arrangement Drawings.
• Prepares RC Drawings for varies Foundations of Steel Structure, Low-rise Buildings, Underground Pits, Pipe supports, Pipe sleepers, Equipment foundations, Etc.
• Prepares Architectural Drawings for Offices, Substations, Control Rooms Etc.
• Prepare Grading Drawings, U.G Drawings, Incorporating all Discipline requirements.
• Prepares Cutlist, Shop and Fabrication Drawings for structures such as Pipe racks, Manifolds, Platforms, Pipe supports, Workshops etc.
• Produce Material Take Off for Civil and Structural Items including Earthwork computation using Topographical Survey Drawings.
• Produce 3 Dimensional (3D) Modeling using PDS, PDMA, SP3D, Softwares.
• Undertakes Engineering Site Survey.
• Prepares As-Built Drawings.
• Supervise and Participates in Discipline-specific Drawing activities.
• Work as Checker for all types of drawings Produced by Civil Draftsmen.
• Provide Input for the Resolution of Engineering Queries and Site Queries.
• Undertakes Interdisciplinary Co-ordination to Ensure Integration of Project Design Activities.
• Works in close conjunction with discipline engineer to ensure speedy resolution of any problems that might arise and that the project schedule is adhered to.
• Co-ordinates discipline-specific Design activities across the project ensuring that work assignments are completed on time and to standards set by Company.
• Maintains proper records and documentation.
• Provides progress reports on deliverables under his responsibilities and provides explanation to any relevant queries
• Provides on job training to junior Designers with productive works..

Skills Required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Technical Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10 year’s Design experience in Oil and Gas Industrial Projects.
• Supervisory experience and team-leader qualities (major projects).
• Good interdisciplinary knowledge.
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Experienced and competent in Computer Aided / 3D-modelling design capability, such as TEKLA STEEL, PDS, PDMS, SP3D & CIVIL 3D.
• Experienced and competent in Auto CAD and Micro Station design capability.
• Experience in Checking of General Arrangement, Underground, Grading, RC details, Structural, Fabrication, Cutlist Drawings.
• Knowledge of oil and gas industry projects setup as a whole.
• Strong knowledge of state of the art softwares.
• Experience in Computing Material take off for Civil, Structural and Earthworks.
• Good supervisory skills
• Capable of working in a state of the art engineering office for an EPC contractor where quality deliverables have to be issued in a short time.
