Job summary

PeopleStrong seeks a Structural Design Engineer to analyze, design, and verify structural systems for buildings, industrial facilities, data centers, and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, economy, durability, and code compliance.

You will prepare calculations, reports, and drawings for reinforced concrete, steel, and foundations, and coordinate with architects, MEP, and clients to optimize constructability and performance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

A Structural Design Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, and verification of structural systems for buildings, industrial facilities, infrastructure projects, data centers, and other construction developments, ensuring that structures are safe, economical, durable, and compliant with applicable codes and standards. The role involves preparing structural calculations, design reports, and detailed engineering solutions for reinforced concrete, structural steel, composite, and foundation systems. The Structural Design Engineer works closely with architects, geotechnical engineers, MEP engineers, project managers, contractors, and clients to develop efficient structural designs that meet project requirements while optimizing cost, constructability, and performance. Key responsibilities include performing load calculations, structural analysis, member sizing, connection design, foundation design, and seismic and wind resistance assessments using industry-standard software such as ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAFE, SAP2000, Revit Structure, and Tekla.
