Job Description: Layout Designer for Amazon FCs

We are seeking a skilled Layout Designer with expertise in warehouse layout design, capable of developing optimized, high-efficiency site layouts for Amazon fulfillment centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or a related industrial and operations field, with proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD or REVIT.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background
2. Expertise in AutoCAD, REVIT, or similar CAD programs
3. Strong data analysis, ambiguity management, and analytical skills
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Responsibilities

1. Design layouts using CAD tools in collaboration with stakeholders
2. Work with key stakeholders to define design and expansion criteria
3. Review and approve layout plans to ensure alignment with business needs and space utilization targets
4. Identify value engineering opportunities through review of existing designs
5. Align cross-functional teams on design standards and implementation guidelines
6. Communicate, present, and document technical drawings effectively
7. Travel up to 25% for site visits and stakeholder meetings
