Design / Senior Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. To comply with The WellBoss Company FZE QHSE policies and procedures.
2. Responsible for setting Engineering Standards and processes.
3. Responsible for providing technical drafting of drawings.
4. Responsible for creating assembly, disassembly, and redress procedures.
5. Generation of Engineering test requests and reports.
6. Responsible for design plan, review, and approval.
7. Participating in the product development process.
8. The WellBoss Company FZE equipment qualification and testing V0.
9. Overseeing prototype design and testing of equipment in workshop.
10. To analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and other technical data.
11. To ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
12. Develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable design and standards.
13. Use Client's drawing control system and other systems to ensure the drawings integrity is maintained.
14. To define the Design Acceptance Criteria (DAC) as per the product and customer-specific requirements.
15. To interface in meetings with Management and managers for design and development requirements.

Accountabilities:

1. Accountable to maintain the changes in design and communicate to the concerned parties.
2. Accountable to verify the accuracy of new drawings prior to assembly and testing.

Authorities:

1. To hold the assembly process if any changes are identified in the drawings and design.
2. To provide and review technical drafting of drawings for approval.
3. To oversee prototype design and testing of equipment in workshop.

Education / Academic Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Design / Engineering or any similar field.

Experience:

5 years and above in a similar field.

Training Sessions:

1. Awareness of product specification requirements like API 11-D1, ASNT, AWS, etc.
2. Project Planning analysis awareness.
3. Experience with AUTOCAD, CADWORKS, etc.

Skills:

1. Understanding of API manufacturing principles and methods and the application to packer's design.
2. Working knowledge of completion equipment design calculations.
