Design Review Engineer - Structural

• Design and lay out complete systems and components of projects with all related facilities, including design elements for which there may be no clearly established precedents.
• Utilize good judgment and prior experience, anticipate problems at the outset, and provide solutions.
• Perform front end layout and design of complex systems and equipment as applicable to the respective discipline.
• Provide for compliance with items such as specifications, tolerances, safety factors, and requirements of the client.
• Perform specialized design computations and analysis within a given discipline.
• Serve as a unit leader on a project, ensuring compliance with industry codes, project, and company standards.
• Perform interdisciplinary reviews and provide coordinating data to ensure a compatible design.
• Give lead direction to a team of checking personnel, ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings produced.
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years proficient experience in structural projects involving design and construction works with knowledge of codes, design manuals, and construction practices.
• Experience in design review for bridges, underpasses.
• Must have a sound knowledge of contractual relationships.
