Job summary

Decision Management Consultants LLC is seeking an experienced Design Engineer - Facade for a client operating in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on facade design for aluminum systems, creating 2D & 3D CAD drawings, and coordinating with the design team to meet project requirements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor is required, with Rhino preferred if available. The candidate should have 3–5 years of relevant experience in facade design or related industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in facade design, aluminum systems or similar industries.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (2D & 3D modeling).
• Familiar with facade systems including windows, doors, sliders, unitized and stick systems.
• Experience with material take-offs, BOQ analysis and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior management to address internal and external technical support requirements.
• Contribute to development and enhancement of systems and design solutions.
• Prepare and submit technical documents for clients ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Generate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD; Rhino/Inventor preferred where available.
• Review project specifications and incorporate them into design and tender documentation.
• Provide computation reports and technical notes related to facade systems.
• Develop custom design solutions for complex projects.
• Prepare technical presentations and proposals for clients and stakeholders.
• Analyze job specs, tender docs and BOQs to identify aluminum system elements.
• Coordinate with logistics for material quotations and timely deliveries.

We re recruiting an experienced Design Engineer - Facade to join our client whos operating an aluminium and renewable energy company in Dubai UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior management to address internal and external technical support requirements
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of systems
• Assist technical engineers with design solutions and technical documentation
• Prepare and submit technical documents for clients ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Generate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD (Autodesk Inventor or Rhino is preferred if available)
• Coordinate with the design team to acquire necessary CAD details for specific projects
• Support fabricators with shop drawings and respond to technical queries related to systems
• Review project specifications and incorporate them into design and tender documentation
• Provide computation reports and technical notes related to proposed fa ade systems
• Develop custom design solutions for specialized or complex projects
• Prepare technical presentations and proposals for clients and stakeholders
• Analyze job specifications tender documents and BOQs to identify elements suitable for aluminum systems
• Generate material quotations and coordinate with the Logistics team to ensure timely deliveries
• Conduct material analysis using software to generate fabrication sheets and bills of materials
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager while maintaining strict confidentiality of all project- and pricing-related information

Requirements
