As a Design Architect reporting into the Head of Concept - Special Projects working from our Design Studio at the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the design process from concept to schematic design, ensuring alignment with Azizi Development’s vision and standards.
- Use AI for Concept Creations and always look out for automation for design production works.
- Collaborate with external architects, consultants, and stakeholders to oversee and refine project designs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers within the team.
- Key Deliverables shall be as follows: Feasibility, Pre-Concept, Concept, Preliminary Design, Approval Kit and Sales and Marketing Kit, as per the benchmarks of the studio.
- Develop knowledge of local and international codes, regulations, submission requirements and constantly update the Studio Practice Guides for teams’ design and technical excellence.
- Lead Team meetings and bring ideas and solutions to the table.
- Plan for and apply Safety in Design principles throughout all design stages of a project.
- Ensure a traceable record is maintained of all key design decisions including justification and approvals.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and procurement teams to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Participate in client presentations, workshops, and design reviews.
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovative materials, and construction techniques to integrate into design solutions.
Here's what you'll need:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on high-end residential and commercial projects.
- Strong architectural design and conceptualization skills.
- Proficiency in Revit, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering large real estate development (Master Plans, Premium mixed-use complexes and Hospitality Projects).
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience working with developers or real estate firms is a plus.
- Professional licensure or certification is preferred.
