1. Pre-Sales, Proposal Management & Revenue Generations
Responsible for preliminary meetings to evaluate customer requirements. Interdepartmental / joint meetings with different departments to evaluate the requirements. Conduct site surveys with contractors and technical teams to analyze requirements.
Identify potential sales opportunities in smart technology in the market, introduction of new smart security technology solutions (at least 3 of them), ensuring a combined revenue of AED 5 million per year is obtained. Generate business contribution through smart technology offerings and packages for various verticals, positioning World Security Engineering to achieve the required minimum target of AED 10 million by 31st December 2022 from the Northern Emirates and Abu Dhabi Region. Complete vendor registrations within Jafza & outside JAFZA (at least 500 companies) to convert to sales. Ensure all proposals and costings are maintained at a 15% profit margin. After project implementation, project closure should have 15% profits.
On timely submission of expressions of interest, reply to inquiries, follow-ups, and ensure submission of proposals. Preparation of drawings, designs, estimations, and follow-ups to ensure the lead is converted to sales.
Effective coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, and the internal technical team.
Design systems with drawings and documentation. Perform comparison studies based on supplier quotations. Negotiate with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of the system.
Carry out value engineering studies based on client budget constraints for any specific project.
Design review workshops to be organized with respective stakeholders, support technically in view of design packages and drawings. Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations.
Develop multi-discipline concepts, detailed and definitive cost estimates for projects.
Responsible to review estimates and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined scope of work including civil and infrastructural estimation.
Interact with multiple departments to review, discuss project scope and estimate basis and consult on company estimating methods/procedures. Study and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to develop manufacturing process flows.
Conduct/attend clarification meetings as required. Coordination with stakeholders to ensure smooth document compilation and timely submission of proposals and tenders.
Preparation of drawings, schematics, etc.
Customer meetings as part of pre-sales/bids and post-sales support.
Regular follow-ups for the proposals submitted until the contract is awarded.
Revise and conclude incoming Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
2. Development
Upgrade on changing developments in estimating advances by reviewing technical works, contact with contractors, visits to site locations, and attending management and technical meetings. Training to be provided to peers and attend trainings provided by other team members (mutual training).
Attend the trainings arranged by the organization.
3. Communication/Coordination & Team Work
Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with the customer. Communication with line manager, peers, or subordinates. Providing information to supervisors and co-workers in written form. Uninterrupted communication with WS and customer technical team, coordination of technical meetings and agenda. Ensure that World Security's interests are protected with the customer at all times.
Ensure all project communications are managed and responded to immediately. Client emails will need to be acknowledged within 1 hour of receipt and responded back with the required information within 1 day, if not earlier/as agreed with the customer. Increase in the number of physical meetings with clients in a year to understand client expectations for continuous improvements. Improve engineering client customer satisfaction & happiness meter ratings by securing 95% and above.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Provide daily reports on the tasks performed.
Prepare and maintain an updated price list for easy reference. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annually consolidated reports.
Ensure RFP/enquiry-wise updating and reporting on a weekly basis. Daily reports and timesheets need to be compiled for the works done by the staff and provided on a weekly basis.
Any other reports as required by management and superiors.
