Job summary

International Hospitals Recruitment Inc. is seeking a Dermatology Consultant for a Dubai position. The role involves expert assessment and treatment of diseases affecting the skin, hair, nails, and mucous membranes, with management of complex cases and dermatologic procedures.

You will provide specialist consultations, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of care in a leading healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Basic medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post-qualification certification in Dermatology.
• Current and in good standing medical license to practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic skin, hair, nail, and mucosal conditions.
• Provide specialist consultations and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and current medical guidelines.
• Diagnose and treat dermatological conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis, skin infections, and autoimmune skin disorders.
• Perform dermatological procedures, including skin biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and minor surgical interventions.
• Screen, diagnose, and manage benign and malignant skin lesions, including skin cancers.
• Prescribe and monitor topical and systemic treatments, including immunosuppressive and biologic therapies.
• Request and interpret diagnostic investigations, including skin biopsies, laboratory tests, and allergy testing.
• Provide preventive skin care advice, including sun protection and cancer prevention.
• Refer patients to other specialists when multidisciplinary care is required.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and participate in clinical audits and CME.

Education

Basic medical degree from recognized institution

Post-qualification certification in Dermatology

American Board of Dermatology (ABD)

Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) in Dermatology

Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Dermatology

Fellowship from the Royal College of Dermatology/FRACP (Australia and New Zealand)
