Job summary

A leading Premium Private Hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join its Dermatology Department. You will deliver comprehensive medical, surgical and procedural dermatology services for adult patients and collaborate with Plastic Surgery, Oncology, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.

Clinical duties include diagnosing and managing acne, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, hair and pigmentation disorders, skin cancers, performing skin biopsies and minor procedures,

Qualifications

• Medical degree recognised for practice in the UAE.
• Consultant qualification in Dermatology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training preferred.
• Academic or research experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions.
• Manage Acne Psoriasis Eczema Dermatitis Alopecia Vitiligo Pigmentation disorders Skin infections Autoimmune skin diseases Skin cancers.
• Perform dermatological procedures within scope of practice.
• Perform skin biopsies and minor surgical procedures.
• Assess suspicious skin lesions and coordinate oncology referrals where required.
• Provide management of chronic inflammatory skin disorders.
• Provide patient education and preventative dermatological care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Contribute to clinical governance research audit and education.
