Deputy Tender And Estimation Manager - Construction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Tender & Estimation Manager to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this vital role, you will oversee the tendering process, ensuring accurate estimation of costs and timely submission of proposals for construction projects. With your expertise in the construction sector, you will contribute to our strategic growth and help secure key projects while supporting the overall management of the tendering team.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals for construction projects.
2. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather and analyze project requirements and specifications.
3. Conduct thorough cost estimates by analyzing labor, materials, and other project-related costs.
4. Prepare comprehensive bid documentation and ensure compliance with all tender requirements.
5. Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for accuracy and competitiveness.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to support the tendering process.
7. Assist in the identification of risks associated with projects and propose solutions to mitigate them.
8. Monitor market trends and construction costs to inform future estimates and bids.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction tendering and estimation roles.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and material pricing.
4. Proficient in estimation software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
5. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
