Job summary

AIG is seeking a Deputy FAC Reinsurance Director (North Africa) to lead cross-border relationships and grow our reinsurance portfolio. The role emphasizes building market partnerships, managing pipelines, and advocating for multinational clients in a fast-paced, multinational setting.

Fluency in French and English is required; Arabic is a plus. You will travel across Africa, work from the Dubai hub, and collaborate with Sales & Marketing in a dynamic team focused on delivering comprehensive

Qualifications

• Insurance/reinsurance experience in Africa
• BA in a related field such as Business, Risk, Law, Finance or Engineering
• CII is preferred

Responsibilities

• Cross sell and upsell to existing clients across Africa
• Manage day-to-day relationships; maintain a strong client portfolio
• Manage business pipeline/portfolio and submissions flow across lines of business
• Build new market partnerships and expand market presence
• Track production across all lines of business in Africa
• Understand market needs and introduce new lines of business
• Build connections with multinational clients and advocate for them internally
• Extinguish complaints swiftly and effectively

What were looking for:

• Having Insurance/reinsurance work experience in Africa as Business Development or Underwriting.
• Minimum Qualifications/Education/Knowledge in insurance or Reinsurance.
• BA in Business Management Risk Management Law Finance or Engineering
• CII preferred

Knowledge:

• Must be Fluent is French and English and preferably Arabic
• PowerBI and Salesforce preferred

Others:

• Target oriented
• Able to travel across Africa
• Team player but can also self motivate
• Prior experience in a multinational fast pace environment
