Job summary

Eden Rose is seeking a Deputy MLRO in Abu Dhabi to support the MLRO and uphold an effective AML and financial crime framework in line with UAE law.

Reporting to the Compliance Officer, you will help draft policies, oversee client onboarding, conduct due diligence, and assist with regulatory submissions to strengthen controls.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree and substantial AML/compliance experience, with CAMS/ACAMS or ICA qualifications recognised as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is essential.
• Strong experience in a similar DMLRO/MLRO role within a regulated financial institution.
• Knowledge of UAE AML laws and FSRA framework.
• CAMS/ICA/CISI/ACAMS or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, reviewing and updating AML policies, procedures, systems and controls.
• Oversee client onboarding and periodic reviews including CDD/EDD, ownership structures, beneficial ownership, PEP and sanctions screening.
• Support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of controls to mitigate AML/financial crime risks.
• Review alerts, investigate unusual activity, document outcomes and escalate material concerns.
